Solve det(A − λI) = 0, which gives λ² − 7λ + 10 = 0. Factoring, (λ − 2)(λ − 5) = 0, so the eigenvalues are λ = 2 and λ = 5. Check: trace 4+3=7 matches 2+5=7.
