11Quotient rule derivative

Let f(x)=e2xx+1\displaystyle f(x) = \frac{e^{2x}}{x + 1}. Find f′(0)\displaystyle f'(0).

Use the quotient rule: f'(x) = [u'v − uv']/v² with u = e^{2x}, v = x+1. This simplifies to f'(x) = e^{2x}(2x+1)/(x+1)². Plugging in x = 0 gives f'(0) = 1.
