32Volume of a cylinder
A cylinder has radius 3 cm and height 10 cm. Find its volume. Give the answer to 2 decimal places.
The cylinder's volume is ≈282.74 cm³. Using V = πr²h with r = 3 and h = 10 gives V = π(9)(10) = 90π ≈ 282.74 cm³, checked by dividing back: 282.74 ÷ π ≈ 90.00.
