96Sine-cosine complementary angles

For an acute angle x\displaystyle x, sin⁡(x∘)=cos⁡((2x−30)∘)\displaystyle \sin(x^\circ) = \cos((2x - 30)^\circ). What is the value of x\displaystyle x?

The trick is that sin(x°) = cos((90−x)°), so the two angles must add to 90: x + (2x−30) = 90, giving x = 40. Check: sin(40°) ≈ cos(50°) ≈ 0.643.
