Work out 3/5 × 10/9. Give the answer as a fraction in simplest form.

3/5 × 10/9 simplifies to 2/3. Cancel common factors first — 3 with 9, and 5 with 10 — to get 1/1 × 2/3, then multiply straight across. Checking without cancelling: 30/45 also simplifies to 2/3.
